How the generator works
The crawler starts at the address you enter, follows internal links, and keeps pages that return 200 and allow indexing. Redirects, noindex pages, blocked paths and pages with a different canonical are skipped.
After downloading
- Upload sitemap.xml to the root of your site
- Add "Sitemap: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml" to robots.txt
- Submit it in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
Large sites should use a sitemap plugin or the CMS built-in sitemap, which updates automatically.
